Paper Mâche is a 24 page vegan food zine from Chef Tim Drew from London, Ontario, Canada. Volume 1 features six recipes, sections about vegetable literacy, artwork from a number of London area artists, my approach to food, what to do with a farm share, maximizing the use, yield, and interchangeability of your veggies, while stressing fluidity in cooking and loosely following recipes. Cooking’s supposed to be fun!

Included in this volume are six recipes from my style of food, rustic fancy vegan. I don't bother with fake meats in this, or totally unapproachable techniques.

To be honest, I don't even want you to make any of the recipes. I would rather you read what I did, and do something for yourself on that vibe. Dishes include Birthday Carrots, Chips For Dinner, Crispy Skin Skinned Eggplant, Beet Burnt Risotto, BBQ Turnips, and the All Cucumbassing bowl.

The main dishes with the recipes are the art pieces from London area artists Kate St. Laurent, Matt Cossette, and Lisa McKaskel. Their artistic takes on the veggies I love, and the dishes I created makes me hungry to keep working, and to keep eating.

Beautiful compiled by Amanda Devries of Eye Candy Design. The book takes notes from the punk and hardcore zines I grew up with, gets covered with drips from my cooking, to give you a different way for food voices to be heard.
